No Favorites...

Come on. Don't any of my faithful readers have a Thanksgiving favorite you want to share. I know you have been here reading, so why is it no one wants to share. I never get any comments, even when I beg. There have been over 10 of you visit here since my last post...some several times and no one wants to share? Give me something to work with here...I am running out of steam on this blog and could use a little help. How about you there in Kilgore, Texas. Don't you have a favorite Thanksgiving treat? What about my visitor from Conway? It's time my readers come out of the woodwork and at least say hello... :-)

I'm glad you like my dressing, I prefer it moist too. That is why I don't bake it for long, just enough to heat it through. No raw eggs that have to get cooked.

My favorite Thanksgiving story, the time I cooked a turkey for what seemed forever, and when I pulled it out of the oven to see if it was about done, the rack gave way, and broth and turkey went everywhere. Took me forever to get all of it out of the oven, which set off the smoke alarm every time I used it for several days...You've heard the saying, "Dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off"?! well at our house it was a true saying.
