One Quick Photo

Our trip to Mt. Magazine was wonderful. The views were spectacular and needless to say, I took lots of pictures. Here is the view from our balcony. You could see for miles and miles. We enjoyed it so much that we went ahead and reserved a cabin for our anniversary next year.

Public Service Announcement

I am a big supporter of the flu vaccine. Due to my lack of a spleen (that's another story in itself), my doctor says that it is very important that I have the vaccine every year. As flu season approaches, it's time to get vaccinated. For those of you in Arkansas, here is a link to the Arkansas Department of Health schedule for flu shot clinics. This is a great program that allows you to get your flu vaccination for FREE. Can't beat that price. So there is really no excuse not to get yours.

Race for the Cure - Pictures

Saturday was the annual Race for the Cure. A couple of friends from church, the kids, Brian and I donned our pink in support of finding a cure for breast cancer. Oh and there were about 50,000 other people there too. We had a great time. The kids really enjoyed it. They even walked the last mile with me. It's not too late to make a donation. If you're interested click here to show your support.

Fall Flowers

Yesterday my mom emailed me a picture she had taken of the fall flowers that have sprung up on their field. She encouraged me to bring my camera over and take a few photos too. Here is a sample of what I got...

I hope you enjoy these. I can't wait for all the fall foliage to start appearing. It is truly a wonder of God. Check out my mom's butterfly photo.
